Have you ever wondered if your efforts to impact your children’s values and beliefs are enough? Have you felt concern that life’s demands will rob you of the time you need to train them to lead godly lives? Have you sensed the call to pray for your child’s future and character yet are not sure where to begin? These questions are what motivated me to create PrayToday. I’m a mother who, together with my husband, raised our family of four children. While caring for the needs of our busy family, God taught me to intentionally focus on praying to instill faith, hope, and love into our children’s hearts and minds.

PrayToday is a daily reminder to prompt us to keep in mind the goal of raising children with a sense of meaning and purpose who become mature physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy adults. It is focused on praying for children to securely know who they are in the eyes of their Creator, to approach life from a biblical worldview, to prepare for work that is joyful and satisfying, to seek like-minded, loving, loyal relationships, and to instill the desire to make a positive contribution to their world.
